空中殺手The Sky Crawlers (2008)

「基爾多雷」函南優一是隸屬於日本戰爭公司羅斯托克的飛行員，他被派往前線基地「兔離洲」，對抗歐洲戰爭公司勞特倫。優一沒有過去的記憶，只知道如何操控戰斗機，飛上藍天大顯身手是優一的一切。基地的女司令官草薙水素也是「基爾多雷」，她曾是一名戰功赫赫的王牌飛行員。圍繞著水素有許多離奇的謠傳，有人說是她殺死了優一的前任，有人說她的妹妹瑞季其實是她的親生女兒。優一深深地被水素所吸引，初見時，水素的目光似曾相識，彷彿正在等待著他。雖然沒有過多的交談和接觸，但兩人的心靈急速接近。一天，水素對優一說：「殺了我怎麼樣？否則，我們將永遠呆在這里。」這話令優一百思不解。
基地的戰況日趨吃緊，勞特倫公司派出了無敵飛行員「教習」，據說他是唯一的一名成人飛行員。在強敵面前，夥伴們一個個戰死，公司又派來新人補充戰力。優一發現，新來的飛行員和死於「教習」之手的同伴湯田川一樣，喜歡把報紙迭好幾次。為什麼陌生人會和已逝者擁有同樣小癖好？
漸漸復甦的記憶、水素那句奇怪的話的含義、「基爾多雷」的命運……當優一明白了一切真相時，他做出了挺身反抗宿命的決定——「我要擊落『教習』！」
